Syntactic ambiguity is divided into linguistic and literary types. Grammatical ambiguity is a type of linguistic ambiguity which is in turn divided into group and structural types. This type of ambiguity refers to situations when the arrangements of words make different meanings. The meanings can be integrated, but, they sometimes are in conflict with each other. Addition of the infinitive to the subject or object, the reference of a pronoun, using conjunctions to connect the modified or modifiers, having declarative or compositional sentences, clauses, having several cases, similarity of case roles, genitive conjunction, cognate object, cause, adverbial and object, statement, the similarity between conjunctives and connectives, subsidiary subject and predicate, and several meanings of prepositions are aspects of syntactic ambiguity that have been considered in this study and are effective in translations of the Holy Quran. Attention to the linguistic and non-linguistic contexts of the utterances can to a large extent resolve difficulties in understanding meaning. The problem lies in situations where there are not enough clues for understanding meanings, and it is not possible to integrate different meanings.

One of the crucial issues to help translators understand the Quran is to take the context into consideration in the process of translation. And there is no doubt that, context is of great importance in understanding the speaker's meaning. Accordingly, paying attention to the context in translating the Holy Quran is also necessary since any translation requires the true understanding of the holy verses. Meanwhile, it is very important to specify that which types of translations take the context into consideration. This study reviewed the main types of existing translations of the Quran including literal, faithful, semantic and explanatory translations and reached to this conclusion that among the translations mentioned, explanatory translation is more consistent with the context.

This paper seeks to put forward a new meaning of the word "rahū" in the verse “وَاتْرُکِ الْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا"(44:24). There are two meanings, "calm" and "cloven", mentioned for this word in dictionaries and interpretations of Quran.In this respect, the present article benefits from lexicons and dictionaries such as Lisan al-Arab, Taj al-Arus, Al-Mufradat fi Gharib Al-Quran as well as many important interpretations of Quran in Islamic world from the first interpretation Tafsir Moqatil Soleyman to Tafsir of Nemune and Al-Mizan. However, the author of this paper first proposes that this word has a different meaning in this context then argues that it is foreign (non-Arabic) word and belongs to the language of Semitic family. Hence he has searched for its meaning in Hebrew, Aramaic and Syriac lexicons and dictionaries and has given other meanings that are more consistent with the context of the verse.

One of these weaknesses is seen in semantics and equivalent finding for the word ‘‘Hashr’’ and its derivatives. This articlereviewsandanalysisequivalentofthe mentioned word comprehensively and completely by the analytical method and there is a result that realequivalentofthisword, ‘‘collecting andpushing towards Doomsday’’accompanied with compulsion adverb. Butthiscomprehensive mean has not been met in contemporaryPersian translations such as Ayati, Elahi Ghomshei, Rezaei, Saffarzadeh, Fooladvand, Kavianpoor, Mojtabvi, Meshkini, Mesbahzadeh, Moezzi and Makarem Shirazi, andonlyElahi Ghosheihas noted to it in one case and it is incomplete.

The innuendo is one of important methods of expression in all languages and it has used widely in language and literature of all peoples, including the Arab nation. considering that the Quran speaks in the language of their people, has benefited from all of expressive elements especially innuendo for expressing different purposes. In this article, we analyze six innuendoes in the Holy Quran; the innuendoes that some translators or interpreters have interpreted it so that most Persian speakers can’t understand the meaning of the verses by studying them. After mentioning the verse, we've expressed commentators' comments about the ironic phrases in that verse, thenby“describing and analyzing’’ method,andaccordingto reliable sources and review of Fouladvand and Ayati's translations, the preferred mean of ironies is explained as the main purpose of this article. The necessity ofthis research is the failure in the translations of some commentators, pay attention to only literal meaning in some contemporary translations and sometimes lacking of full understanding ironic meaning of the verse.
