Abstract
Diwan Ghazliat of Hafez was translated into Arabic for the first time in the middle of the 20th century by Ibrahim Amin Al-Shwarabi, and after that people such as Muhammad al-Farti, Ali Abbas Zulikha and Salah al-Sawi translated all the Ghazliats or selections from it into Arabic. In this article, the author intends to review two translations by Amin Al-Shwarabi and Ali Abbas Zuleikha. One of the main weaknesses and shortcomings of both translations is the incorrect reading of the verses and the wrong perception and reception of the message, and then the inappropriate and sometimes wrong choices of the translators. The lack of familiarity with the spirit of the Persian language, and especially the lack of proper understanding of Hafez's beautiful and pleasant similes and metaphors, sometimes with multiple meanings, complex and closed, has in many cases failed the two translators in conveying the message correctly and led to the distortion of the text.
